Internet radio on the road?

When it comes to getting entertainment in your car most people still rely on music. The catch is that if you are in an area where the stations are to your liking you are out of luck without listening to digital tracks and CDs repeatedly.

DICE and Livio Radio have announced that they will be showing some cool new gear at CES 2011 that will put internet radio selections in the car for drivers to enjoy. The system uses hardware interfaces by DICE that connects a Livio smartphone app for the iPhone and Android to the car audio system.

The DICE hardware also connects the smartphone app to the steering while controls on most modern vehicles to allow the driver to control the web music. The smartphone app uses the phones data connection to stream music.
