Cool cases with lots of protection

OtterBox has launched a pair of new cases at CES that are the in the new Reflex series. The cases are an entirely new line for the iPhone 4 and the Blackberry Curve 8500/9300 smartphones. The cases are made from polycarbonate and TPS rubber. Rather than using individual cases in a dual layer configuration, OtterBox crafted the material into a single layer.

The case is designs to work like the crumple zones in a car. If the device inside the case is dropped, the case will recoil and spring back to protect the device again if needed. The case should be very good for preventing damage to your device.

The case comes a part in two halves for easy installation of the phone. Both versions are offered in gray and black color or pink and black colors. Pricing and availability are unknown at this time.
