CES 2011: Asus Eee Pad Slider

Sweet tablet launches

We have already talked a bit about all of the new tablets that Asus has tossed onto the scene at CES. One of those tablets is the cool Eee Pad Slider. This machine has a touchscreen like we all expect a tablet to have, but it also has a keyboard that slides out from underneath the tablet for typing. This is a really cool feature and cases that allow the iPad to do this same thing are numerous.

The Eee Pad Slider has a 10.1-inch IPS touchscreen and uses the powerful NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor with a dual core CPU and an NVIDIA GPU. This should be one of the best performing tablets at the show. The Slider has a 1.2MP front camera, a 5MP rear camera and runs Android 3.0.

The buyer can get optional onboard 3G connectivity that it has WiFi as well. With the ability to get 3G on board you can bet we will see this tablet landing at wireless carriers with discounts for signing away your wireless freedom. I think this is one of the coolest tablets at the show so far.
