Nintendo kicked off the 3DS marketing push over the weekend in Japan at the Nintendo World. The 3D Nintendo console will launch on February 26th for 25,000 Yen in Japan as announced last year. The US And Europe will get the Nintendo 3DS in March. Japanese consumers will be able to choose between the AquaBlue (photo) and CosmpBlack Nintendo 3DS at launch.

3DS launch titles in Japan include Nintendogs and cats, Chronicle, Winning Eleven 3DSoccer, Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition and Ridge Racer 3D.

Initial hands-on reports of the 3DS are positive and the 3DS should sell really well. At least one 3D device that will appeal to the masses.
