Coupe with a sporty 3-door style

The Detroit International Autoshow has kicked off and with it has come a hoard of new car unveilings. One of the new rides unveiled at the show is from Hyundai and is called the Veloster. The 2010 Veloster is a compact coupe that has a three-door design and a 1.5L direct-injected 4-cylinder with a dual clutch transmission.

The motor when mated to the 6-speed manual is good for 40mpg on the highway. The vehicle has a 7-inch touchscreen inside that offers all sorts of features like Pandora internet radio, Gracenote display tech with voice recognition, and virtual CD downloading. The device can play games from a game console too when plugged into an outlet.

The little 1.6L engine is good does 138hp at 6300 rpm and 123 lb-ft of torque. Pricing and availability are unknown at this time, but I would assume this would be a cheaper car.
