When Verizon unveiled the new Verizon iPhone there was one new feature highlighted. The Verzion iPhone will allow to share the 3G connection via a personal Wifi hotspot with up to 5 devices. On the same day it became clear that Apple will offer this new feature in the next iOS update.

Now the new iOS 4.3 got already released in beta to developers and the hotspot feature is here. Apple also added new gestures for the iPad. The 4 and 5 finger gestures are apparently not all working yet in the beta. The new gestures would allow pinch to the home screen, swipe up to reveal multitasking tray and swipe left/right to switch apps.

The hotspot feature on the iPhone will only make you happy if your provider will allow this feature. As the Verizon iPhone goes on sale on Feb. 10 we expect the release of the iOS 4.3 update around that time.
