Apparently somebody was testing an unreleased Core i7 Apple MacBook Pro with GeekBench. MacRumors reports that the report shows a MacBook Pro with a new 6,1 model number and an unreleased Mac OS X 10.6.2 (Build 10C3067).

This new MacBook Pro sports a new Intel Core i7 M 620 at 2.66Ghz. Currently only the iMac line offers Core i7 CPUs.
Apple did not update the MacBook Pro in a while and an update would make sense with the new 2010 Intel Core CPUs. Early January a rumor of new Core i5 MacBook Pro laptops has already appeared inclining a January shipping date. As we have already February the rumor turned out to be false.
