LG will unveil the LG Optimus 3D smartphone at the Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona this month. The LG Optimus 3D is what LG calls the world's first 3D smarpthone. LG’s most advanced smartphone to date will feature a dual-lens camera for 3D recording, a glasses-free LCD panel for 3D viewing and diverse connectivity options such as HDMI and DLNA for 3D content sharing anytime, anywhere.

Rumors and teasers of the glasses free 3D phone from LG have been already available. Now LG made it official that they will show the 3D phone at the MWC 2011.

If 3D on a smartphone is going to be a must have feature remains to be seen.
