You can tell spring is near when the new iPhone rumors start to rush out. iResQ (via MacRumors.com) has just received a new shipment of parts that (they claim) are for the new 4G iPhone. One of these parts is a new iPhone front panel some 1/4” taller than the current model. Just the right size for an upgrade to a 3.7” screen, in other words.

The new panel also sports a reflective surface right above the earpiece slot. No one is certain exactly what that reflective bit is for. iResQ says it could be a proximity sensor. As convincing as these photos look, it should be noted that ALL iPhone rumors have a very high probability of being false. Apple is good at keeping things under wraps.
