The Motorola Super Bowl commercial promotes the new Motorola Xoom Android 3.0 Tablet. A couple days ago Motorola released a companion video that is referencing Apple's iconic Super Bowl ad from 1984 that unveiled the Macintosh computer. Motorola is putting Apple in the place of Microsoft. Today Apple dominates the tablet market with the iPad. The Motorola Super Bowl ad itself is just a slide show of Xoom feature highlights with some dramatic music score.

Motorola is adopting the 1984 George Orwell theme in the Xoom Super Bowl commercial.

Everybody is the same, besides the one dude using an Motorola Xoom tablet. I am not sold on the Motorola Super Bowl Ad. I think it is boring. I also really do not think that many Super Bowl viewers know about the iconic 1984 Apple Super Bowl ad that is referenced by Motorola here.
