The white iPhone 4 is pretty much dead, at this point.

Apple is about to reverse their stance on white iPhones. The white iPhone 4 still has yet to materialize, presumably due to a laundry list of manufacturing issues. But the same story won't be true of the white iPhone 5. In fact, white may be the only color to buy your iPhone 5 in.

Digitimes reported earlier that Wintek would be the only touch panel maker for the white iPhone 5. They are also expected to overwhelm TPK Touch Solutions as the main touch panel manufacturer on earth in 2011. But that isn't the interesting part of the rumor.

"...Apple plans to focus on white models for the iPhone 5..."

Which sounds like white could be the 'default' color for an iPhone 5. Other colors may launch subsequently, or Apple may stick with white for the duration of the iPhone 5's product life. What say you, Apple fanatics? Will a new line of all-white iPhones make up for the fact that no white iPhone 4 ever launched? Do you even care?
