iPad 2 not delayed.

Earlier today we reported about rumors that the iPad 2 is delayed because of production issues. Now BoomTown comes in with an exclusive report that Apple has an iPad 2 event scheduled for March 2nd.
Update:
Apple iPad 2 event is official.

BoomTown's Kara Swisher says that several sources have confirmed the March 2nd date. Apple would need to send out the media invites soon. I would be more than happy if the iPad 2 is not delayed as I actually planned on getting in on the tablet action. I hope by then the whole app subscription controversy is behind us and more magazines will join the iPad eco-system.

The new iPad 2 is expected to have a faster CPU, possibly Light Peak connector and FaceTime cameras.
