Earlier today we reported about rumors that the iPad 2 and the iPhone 5 would be delayed. These rumors stemmed from analyst firms and causes quite a stir. Apple stock is down by close to 3%. Now reports appear that these delays are not true.

Jim Dalrymple at The Loop reports that his Apple sources tell them that both the iPhone 5 and the iPad 2 are on schedule. Reuters also issued a short report that the delay rumors are not true. That the iPad 2 is still coming in April as expected is also nurtured by a report that Apple will be holding an iPad 2 event on March 2nd.

I have the feeling these delay rumors triggered some controlled leakage of information to some media outlets that all is in order and running as planned at Apple.

My mind was all set for a new Apple product releases basically almost each month from now on until Summer. This week we still expect the new MacBook Pro. In April the new iPad 2 is coming and then in June we can get our hands on the iPhone 5 before the summer vacation. If we are lucky, Apple is serving up a new iPad 3 in September.
