Some Houston Apple Store customers got followed home and robbed at gun point.

Apple Stores are more and more target of criminals. There have been several Apple Store robberies. Now reports come in that Apple Store customers at the Houston Apple Store got followed home and robbed. Local channel KHOU (via CultofMac) has the report. One customer was held at gun point in front of her home and the robber only demanded the just purchased Mac. Some other costumers got followed and their car got broken into and three Macs got stolen.

Apple Computers are easy to be re-sold online. Robbers can quickly turn the stolen Macs into good money.

The Police recommends to watch your back when you leave a store in general. I suggest to order your next Mac in the online Apple Store.

This report just appears ahead of today's 10th anniversary of the Apple Store retail chain.
