QXGA Displays for Apple iPad 3 in Testing

Apple is supposed to quality test high definition displays from LG and Samsung for iPad 3.

The iPad 3 is rumored to feature a new display with increased resolution of 2,048x1,536px. This rumor is around for a while. Some mention the high resolution in connection with a new iPad 2 Plus or iPad HD to be already released this Fall.

I am a believer of the iPad 3, that arrives in 2012. This new iPad will have the new high, almost Retina quality. In support of this is a new report on the Korea Times. According to the report Apple is currently quality testing QXGA displays from LG and Samsung. If this is the case, I do not think a production ready iPad 3 is ready for Fall. This sounds like early stages of selecting the screen component for the iPad 3.
