One of the strange little things left out of the iPhone OS is some sort of native photo editing solution. Sure, there are plenty of apps that pack editing functionality, but a hole is still a hole. Apparently Apple agrees with me. 9to5Mac may have found evidence that native advanced photo management will make its way into OS 3.2.

They've found info in the SDK which hints that photo cropping and rotation, at least, will make it into a future version of the OS. The launch of a new update to the iPhone OS won't be far off, so we should hear more about this in fairly short order.
