The Nexus S is free with a new 2-year contract on Best Buy until Aug. 3, at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Best Buy Mobile runs an exclusive one-day sale on Nexus S from Google phones valid on all carriers who support the device: AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile. The Nexus S is a pure Google experience phone and runs Android 2.3, Gingerbread.

The Nexus S got introduced last December. The Nexus S was the first smartphone to feature a 4-inch Contour Display designed to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand and along the side of your face. It also features a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, front and rear facing cameras, 16GB of internal memory, and NFC (near field communication) hardware that lets you read information from NFC tags.
