Analyst report claims that two new iPhones coming to China Telecom in October.

China has become one of the most important markets for Apple, if not the most important. Apple is having already tremendous success in China, but they are still at the beginning. For instance only one carrier is offering the iPhone right now. This is supposed to change later this year when Apple launches the iPhone 5.

Today there is a new report (via Barron's) from analyst Brian White at Ticonderoga Securities saying that China Telecom is launching the iPhone 5 and a simplified iPhone 4 latest end of October. The rumor mill is still unclear when the iPhone 5 is launching. We see September and early October dates floating around. It could be that Apple is launching the iPhone 5 one month earlier in the US or maybe China will be part of the initial launch countries this time.

We already reported last month that China Telecom is supposed to get the iPhone this fall. Apple is also supposed to be in talks to bring the iPhone 5 to China Mobile, the world's largest mobile carrier.
