As soon as the Nokia Windows Phones are ready all other Nokia phones will stop selling says Nokia.

Earlier today we reported that Nokia will not launch the Nokia N9 MeeGo phone in the United States. Now a new report on AllThingsD has Nokia on record saying that Nokia will only sell Windows Phones in the United States as soon as they are ready.

Additionally Nokia will go back and only sell through carriers. In recent years Nokia sold unlocked devices directly. Nokia is preparing the their biggest marketing push ever for the Nokia Windows Phone launch. Chris Weber, the President of Nokia U.S. says: "It will be Windows Phone and the accessories around that. The reality is if we are not successful with Windows Phone, it doesn’t matter what we do (elsewhere)."

It is Nokia and Microsoft that will attack Google and Apple this Fall. Are you ready for it?
