Angry Birds Maker Rovio wants to join Billion Dollar Club

Don't Miss: This How to find Fingerlings in Stock

Rovio rumored to seek investment at $1.2 Billion valuation.

By now I guess everyone with access to gadgets has played Angry Birds. The world-wide phenomen is possilby taking Rovio into the league of startups (e.g.: Airbnb, Square, Spotify,...) that are valued at a Billion or more. According to sources of Bloomberg, Rovio is seeking investment at a $1.2 Billion valuation.

Rovio, based in Finland, is supposed to take the investment to invade China with stuffed animals and clothing. One of the rumored investors is Disney. An Angry Birds theme ride is next?

I suggest though that Rovio takes some of the investment money and invent the next smash hit game. At some point the popularity of Angry Birds will fade.
