If you have DirecTV (channel 107) and a 3D TV you might already know 3net. The channel broadcasts 3D content since its launch in February. Today 3net announces a new deal that brings more 3D sports action content to the channel. Red Bull offers programming derived from its brand, sports and culture events, and athletes. Red Bull content includes Red Bull Rampage, which is a mountain bike freeride competition and a 3D report from the 2010 US Open of Surfing.

Sports, especially extreme sports, is great for 3D. 3net plans to have the largest library of 3D content by the end of 2011. 3net genres are including natural history, documentary, action/adventure, travel, history, animated children’s series, lifestyle and cuisine, concerts, movies, scripted series and more.
