Next iPod Touch rumored again to have 3G connectivity.

Fall almost here and besides the iPhone 5, which i already reserved, Apple fans await a new iPod touch - like every year. The iPod touch 5G is going to be again a hot Holiday gift and hot item during Black Friday sales. Because everybody focuses on the iPhone, there have been already voices that Apple should stop making the iPod touch. This is though not making any sense as Apple still sells tons of iPod touch devices. They dominate the market for personal music players and as we know from a recent statistic only 40% of Americans own a smartphone. The new iPod touch 5G might not just be a performance upgrade. It might also have a 3G data connectivity option to benefit from the iCloud services.

AppleNApps (via MacRumors) pulls together bits and pieces today in a report that are supposed to confirm that the iPod touch 5G will have a 3G data connectivity option. If Apple is smart they do something like Amazon does with the Kindle. No monthly data service fees would make an iPod touch 3G pretty attractive.
