Black Friday 2011 In-Store Sales Launch Earlier But Not As Early As Online

This year several retailers already announced to open their stores earlier than 2010. The online sale of advertised Black Friday deals and doorbusters starts to even much earlier.

Target, Macy's and ToysRUs announced that the will open their stores midnight after Thanksgiving. In the case of ToysRUs already at 10pm. What happened though the last two years that advertised Black Friday deals and doorbusters got already offered online Thanksgiving morning. In 2009, Best Buy sold Black Friday doorbusters and deals already at about 7am EST Thanksgiving Day. Last year ToysRUs launched the Black Friday sale already midnight before Thanksgiving and Best Buy just minutes after midnight.

Thanksgiving Day becomes more and more a big online Black Friday shopping day starting already during the night. Some retailers call them Thanksgiving Day sale others really already launch their Black Friday sales. The good news for Black Friday shoppers is that there is enough time to shop online and still head out to the mall to score deals not available online.
