Walmart holds Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Tournaments ahead of Midnight Release

Walmart Gives Gamers Early Access to MW3 in over 2,700 Walmart stores.

Walmart will right after their early Black Friday Sales weekend attend to host a special event for the Modern Warfare 3 release midnight on Monday. Call of Duty fans can get their game on at Walmart before Modern Warfare 3 is officially released. Walmart will give gamers early access to play the possibly hottest new game for the holidays, Call of Du­­ty: Modern Warfare 3, with tournaments in more than 2,700 stores beginning at 8 p.m. (local time) on Monday, Nov. 7, 2011.

The game then officially goes on sale at 12 a.m. Nov. 8. Local tournament prizes will include a copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in each of the 2,700 participating stores. More information is available at the Walmart Game Center.

The new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 game is available for pre-order with bonus avatar and a $10 credit towards a headset on Amazon.com for $56.99.
