There is an 8-page Amazon Black Friday 2011 Ad, but it is useless

Because Amazon is not a traditional retailer with brick-and-mortar history, they do not offer many printed ads, but there is an 8-page printed Amazon Black Friday Ad.

The Amazon Black Friday Deals Week starts on Monday. So far Amazon has only released deal calendars for music and movies. Now a printed Amazon Black Friday Ad appeared that promotes the Amazon Black Friday Deals Week. This 8-page ad features lots of products, but stays vague on the pricing. Amazon just states for pricing: "Less than X". For instance the first page features the Canon Elph 100 HS with a price of less than $135. The Elph 100 HS is already selling for under $135 on Amazon. Another example is the 32-inch Haier LCD HDTV. In the Ad Amazon just lists the $299.99 list price. This TV is on sale right now on Amazon for $197. Without final sales prices this Amazon Black Friday Ad is useless.

You only can use it to see on what products Amazon will focus during the Amazon Black Friday Deals Week. But then this 8 pages also just give a small look at the fast deals Amazon will offer next week. The trick is to spot the best deals at the right time. I actually recommend to use Black Friday Ads from other retailers like Best Buy, Target and Walmart to find the best deals on Amazon. The advertised major deals of competitors will likely be matched by Amazon during the Amazon Black Friday Sales Week.
