Smartphone pegged for $199.99

I have mentioned the Samsung Galaxy Nexus smartphone a few times lately. The phone was confirmed for a December launch. While we don’t know the exact date in December that the smartphone will launch, at least we have an idea. The smartphone price is another thing that we didn’t know for sure.

Today a new ad has surfaced running online in several places that has tipped the price. According to these flash ads, the price of the smartphone will be $199.99. That is a good price and puts it on par with the price of the iPhone 4S. Some of the new and high-end LTE smartphones have been getting prices over $200.

The smartphone ad also lists a November 29 date of availability. We have heard December so this ad may be something old that just slipped out into the mix. This will be one of the best smartphones around and will be very popular.
