Update fixes issues with device

I have spent a lot of time with Kindle Fire over the weeks since it launched looking at it for everything from surfing the web to reading. I honestly had no problems with the little tablet at all. Many people have complained that the Fire has issues with the user interface and other things. This has led Amazon to offer a new software update for the tablet.

The Kindle Fire Software Update Version 6.2.1 is now available. The software update is free to download and enhances the fluidity and performance of the tablet. It improves touch navigation responsiveness and allows the user to choose the options shown in the display carousel.

The user can also add a WiFi password lock. The update will be applied automatically if your Fire is on and connected to a network. You can check if your tablet has the update by going into the menu and hitting more, then device and looking to see if the tablet is on 6.2.1. the update can be manually installed as well.
