A shiny turd is still a piece of crap

Like many people, I'm not a fan of the new Facebook Timeline. It doesn't bother me so much that it intends to share more of my details with people, because I don't post that much. The thing that bothers me is that I just don't like the way the new Timeline looks and I think the profiles that use Timeline are difficult to navigate.

If you happen to be a fan of Facebook Timeline, a new app is set to launch that will allow you to make a movie of some of the most important photos in your Timeline. That app is called Timeline Movie Maker and will make a movie that spans about 1 minute for you place on your profile and share with friends. You have to give the app access to basic information as well as your photos and posts among other things.

There are no instructions on how to use the app because all you have to do is click the button labeled "Make Your Movie" and app does the rest. It will comb through your photos and posts to find which of them are the most relevant and important. It will take those it finds and weave them into a movie and you can choose one of five tracks for background music. This that certainly doesn't make me want to use Timeline anymore, but it's not like we have a choice.
