Little new details surface

If you've been holding out for a nice budget smartphone and you like Nokia, some details on the Lumia 610 surfaced today. The Lumia 610 has made its way through the certifying authorities in Indonesia and with the certifications, a few more details about the 610 and a cheaper handset called the 305 have surfaced.

The Indonesian certification papers reveal that the 610 supports GSM 900/1800 and WCDMA 2100 spectrum. The Lumia 610 is thought to be one of the first Tango flavored Windows Phone smart phones to come to market. There is no indication what hardware the Lumia 610 will use, but Tango reduces the hardware requirements to only 256 MB of RAM and a three-megapixel camera.

There is some indication that the Lumia 610 will hit the UK as a cheap pay-as-you-go phone. The details on the 305 are even more scant, but it is thought to be part of the low-end Nokia Asha range. What do you think about these handsets? We expect to hear more in a couple weeks at Mobile World Congress 2012.
