Acer Iconia Tab A510 Olympic Edition Starts Running In March

Acer celebrates the Olympics

Unless you live under a rock, you probably know that the 2012 Olympic Games will be kicking off soon in London, England. Acer is partnering with the Olympic Movement and has announced a special-edition tablet to celebrate the partnership. The special-edition tablet is called the ICONIA TAB A510 Olympic Games Edition and has the Acer and Olympic logos.

The tablet will come in black or silver and uses the Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core processor. A fifth core handles low-power tasks like music playback and active standby tasks. The A510 has a 9800 mAh battery good for 15 hours of video playback. The tablet also ships of productivity apps installed such as Acer Print for wireless printing. It also includes Polaris Office for office document tasks on the go.

Other features of the tablet include noise suppression and echo cancellation technologies for audio recording, the ability to make video calls with HD voice quality, the 5.1 channel sound output. The tablet will launch in March at an undisclosed price and runs Android 4.0.
