Don't Miss: This How to find Fingerlings in Stock

Here we go again. The initial stock of the new iPad sold out within days of the launch of the pre-order.

If you want a new iPad now you have to be patient. The Apple online store shows a shipping delay of 2-3 weeks on all third generation iPad models. This is no surprise. The iPad and the iPhone have since launch always sold out.

Apple will of course again have a some inventory of the new iPad in stores on March 16 for those Apple customers who like to stand in line.

The main new feature of the new iPad is the Retina Display and that you can now get a 4G LTE version. Prices stayed the same. Apple is still selling the iPad 2, but at a $100 discount.

I have actually decided to stick with my iPad 2 for now and upgrade to the 4th generation iPad (iPad 4) in about a year. For me the Retina display and the new cameras are not really changing what I do on the iPad. Sure, everything looks nicer, but it works the same.
