New iPad Launch Day Sales Numbers

Don't Miss: This How to find Fingerlings in Stock

How many new iPad will Apple sell on Friday, March 16? This is the big question on every analyst's mind right now

As reported earlier the initial shipment of the new iPad has been sold out during the pre-order time that started last week. If you order a new iPad now you have to wait 2-3 weeks to receive it. Apple holds back some stock for the sales launch in Apple Stores on Friday, but this is only for people who are actually about to line up now at an Apple Store near you.

On the business side of things, the analysts start to put out the initial iPad sales numbers. According to Business Insider, Apple analyst Gene Munster says that Apple will sell 1 million new iPads on launch day.

Apple did not reveal the iPad 2 launch day sales numbers as they really had a supply issue. This time around I don't think they have one and Apple will actually be able to announce an impressive iPad launch day sales figure. I am going to top Munster's estimate and say that Apple will sell 1.5 million new iPads at launch. Let's see next week who was closer.
