Windows 8 goes on Sale in October

Black Friday Deals Tracker is Live

Microsoft is supposed to launch Windows 8 in October.

Microsoft has released the Windows 8 Consumer Preview a couple weeks ago. According to Bloomberg, Microsoft will finish work on Windows 8 this Summer and the release is planned in October. Windows 8 is expected to bring a huge push to the PC, Laptop and Tablet market.

Bloomberg's sources also say that Microsoft will release Windows 8 for ARM CPUs at the same time as the Intel version. There are supposed to be 5 ARM based Windows 8 devices scheduled for release in October along with over 40 Intel based devices.

An October release for Windows 8 is ideal for taking advantage of the huge Holiday shopping quarter and the Black Friday 2012 sales season.
