Sony announces Ice Cream Sandwich for the Sony Tablet S and Sony Tablet P.

Sony announced today in Japan that Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) is coming to the Sony Tablet S and Tablet P in late April. The upgrade is free of charge and brings new Sony specific features. The exact version number is Android 4.0.3.

Sony lets you connect to a Sony Blu-ray recorder and watch stored videos on the Sony Tablet with the upgrade. Additionally Sony allows you to use a small "popup window" for apps. 

The Sony Tablet S sells for for as low as $386.86 on Amazon.
