Don't Miss: This How to find Fingerlings in Stock

Apple got under pressure in Australia for marketing the new iPad with the 4G moniker. The new iPad is not compatible with the Australian 4G LTE network.

Australians who feel they got misled by Apple that the new iPad supports 4G LTE in Australia can get their money back according to The Guardian. The new iPad 4G is only supporting the North American LTE networks. Apple is though selling the new iPad with the 4G moniker also in Europe and the rest of the world. This is not really clean and rather confusing. The Australian consumer watch dog (ACCC) took action and is seeking orders against Apple in Australia.

Apple took some short cuts here because there is no single chip that supports all LTE frequencies. Apple should have made different 4G iPad hardware for each region, but they opted against that to save money, but losing in my mind quite a bit of superiority.
