Samsung AMOLED Tech Stolen And 11 Are Arrested

Stolen Samsung display tech lands current and former workers in jail

According to sources, 11 people have been arrested in conjunction with the theft and sale of proprietary Samsung AMOLED technology to a rival company. One current Samsung worker said to be deeply involved with the technology has been arrested and allegedly accepted a $170,000 payment to sell the secrets to a rival firm.

According to sources, the employee in question stole information and sold it to a rival firm after being passed over for an executive position. Ten other former and current employees were also arrested. There's no indication of any of the people will do jail time at this point
