Pot creates electricity as you boil water

One thing that is likely to happen during a natural disaster is the loss of electricity. In some rural areas of Texas you don't even need a natural disaster to lose electricity, it just happens. For those prone to be without electricity or looking to fix up their emergency preparedness kit the PowerPot concept might be just the thing.

This concept would also be great for campers that like to take gadgets with them. The PowerPot concept comes in three versions producing between 5 and 15 W of power with an estimated price of $125 to $500. The power is generated as the pot is used on a fire and is output through a USB cable.
