Apple May Have Sold 35 Million IPhones Last Quarter

iPhones appear to be selling very well

Apple never offers hard numbers on how many iPhones it sells. That means analysts estimate by looking at how much money Apple makes during a specific quarter. With the first quarter of 2012 behind us, analysts are now estimating how many devices they believe Apple sold.

Estimates range wildly 26 to 44 million iPhones sold. CNN estimates the best consensus on units sold at 35 million, which is a significant increase from the previous year. That is a lot of smartphones.
