Still lots of infected Macs

The Flashback malware from Macs ran rampant in taking up to 600,000 machines for many people realized it was out there. The fight against Flashback is been ongoing and has been pretty successful so far. However, Symantec says there's still a large number of infected Macs out there.

According to Symantec's figures they're still about 140,000 Mac computers infected. The information appears to come from a sinkhole domain the security firm was operating, which was off line for one day during the monitoring period. Presumably, that could have affected the numbers.
