Celebrities Abusing the Internet: Maria Sharapova

Today we launch a new series about celebrities abusing the internet and social networks to play with us. It happens every day. Today tennis beauty Maria Sharapova got caught red handed.

Maria Sharapova raised a shit storm under her fans when she posted a photo (left) on Facebook showing her with short hair. I kind of like it actually. She asked: "So What do you guys think?? I kind of love it!" Hours later she posted photos (right) showing her with long hair to proof that she actually did not cut her hair.

Sharapova said: "Wow, when I posted those photos with the short hair I had no idea everyone would all go bananza....( my dear friends, I never actually said I cut my hair!) so for the sake of my email inbox and it's stressful 24 hours, I would like to show you the below pictures...my hair is still long...and blonde...and well it's pretty much the same!"

This is again a case of celebrities abusing the internet for a cheap way to gain exposure. Maria Sharapova pulled a quick one on her fans, other celebrities use more elaborate methods, like storing photos of them naked on their cellphones and leave Bluetooth on. Stay tuned for our next edition of Celebrities Abusing the Internet.
