Nokia is supposed to sell its luxury phone company Vertu to a private equity firm.

Nokia can use each dollar. According to the Financial Times, Nokia is in advanced talks to sell Vertu to Permira, a private equity group. The information is not official and sourced from people familiar with the matter. It makes though sense for Nokia to streamline its business.Phones encrusted with diamonds, but outdated technology are just a niche business.
