Focus Electric coming this spring

Ford has announced that it has certified the first group of 67 dealers for its Focus Electric. For the dealership to be certified it must have at least two charging stations and trained personnel on staff. The first 67 dealers are located in California, New York, and New Jersey where the majority of electric vehicle purchases are made according to Ford.

The dealers also have to agree to have a Focus Electric on hand for demonstrations and special events at all times. The EV will roll out to the rest of the country later this year.
