Larger screen iPhone rumors intensify
The Wall Street Journal is citing sources claiming to have knowledge of the situation that say Apple has ordered larger screens from its Asian suppliers and traditionally used in the iPhone. The indication is that these larger screens will be used in the new iPhone that is expected to launch later this year. Apple has been rumored to be using a larger screen in the past.

Other rumors have also pointed to a smaller screen iPad. Neither of these devices have been confirmed by Apple, and they won't be until the devices launch, if they do launch. Analysts say changing the screen size of the iPhone doesn't indicate pressure by competitors on Apple. Mizuho Investors Securities analyst Nobuo Kurahashi said, "If Apple ever released a lower-priced iPhone, that would be more of a sign that the changing market environment is beginning to affect the company."
