English born Apple design chief Jonathan Ive was recently knighted for services to design and enterprise. Ive was knighted by Princess Anne. During an interview, Sir Jonathan revealed that he had talked with the Princess about how often he comes to the UK and that she had spoken about her iPad.

Ive was previously honored by the Queen of England in 2005 when he was made Commander of Order of the British Empire. Ive is the man responsible for many of the iconic designs we all know and love from Apple. Ive said the experience was "really thrilling and particularly humbling".
