Lightest 11.6-inch notebook around

Gigabyte has announced what it claims to be the lightest 11.6-inch full carbon fiber notebook on the market. The notebook is called the Gigabyte X11 and weighs 975 g. The machine will hit the street at between $999 and $1299 depending on options in July. The X11 is 0.3 cm thick at the thinnest point and 1.65 cm thick at its thickest point.

The machine uses Windows 7 and third-generation Intel Core processors. It has a 128 GB SSD for storage, USB 3.0 port, Bluetooth 4.0, and an LED backlit screen. This should be one of the more popular ultraportable notebooks for business users.
