Microsoft aquires Business software company Yammer for $1.2 billion reports the Wall Street Journal citing a person familiar with the matter.

The rumor that Microsoft buys Yammer appeared yesterday. The Wall Street Journal has now a new report that says that Yammer has agreed to the terms and sells for $1.2 billion to MS.

It is not clear yet when the official announcement will be made. There is still a chance that this is not going to happen at all. Yammer got founded in 2008 and provides services to businesses to establish internal social networks.
