Deliveries to made at Tesla's California factory

This is a big week for Tesla. After all the development and manufacturing is out of the way, the car company is ready to deliver the first of its Model S electric vehicles this week. The first 10 Signature performance versions of the car will be picked up by owners at Tesla's Fremont, California factory this week.

The car sold for between $95,400 and $105,400. They promise a driving range of up to 265 miles per charge. Tesla has more than 10,000 people registered to purchase one the cars and all have made $5000 deposits. The big question is after the first 10,000 people get their cars, where will customers come from.
