Toyota Adds More Lexus Vehicles To Sticking Throttle Pedal Recall

More unintended acceleration risk for Toyota

Toyota has announced the addition of more Lexus vehicles to recall originally issued in 2009 aiming to fix a defect that caused unintended acceleration of some Toyota vehicles due to formats. Toyota has added 2010 your model Lexus RX 350 and RX 450h SUVs to the recall. The recall affects vehicles built between November 28, 2008 through September 1, 2010.

The problem with unintended acceleration in these vehicles had to do with an unsecured or incompatible driver side floor mat that could hang on the pedal. The recall covers 154,036 vehicles according to the NHTSA.
