This is the first Photo Ever Uploaded to the Web

20 years ago WWW inventor Tim Berners-Lee uploaded the first photo the world wide web.

On Jul 18 1992, Tim Berners-Lee tested for the first time images on in HTML. He asked his college at the CERN labs Silvano de Gennaro for a photo. He gave Berners-Lee a photoshopped image showing a CERN based comedy ladies band: Les Horribles Cernettes.
