New SSD line starts at under $50

What the storage market has needed for a long time is a series of cheap SSDs that offer better performance than a hard drive and have enough capacity to be attractive the computer enthusiasts. Crucial has just launched a series of SSDs called the v4 series that is the storage line many people have been waiting for. This SSDs come in 32 GB, 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB capacities.

Pricing for the SSDs is $49.99, $69.99, $99.99, and $189.99 respectively. Under $190 for 256 GB SSD is a very good price. The SSD line promises up to 230 MB/s read speeds and up to 190 MB/s write speed. This is these are 2.5-inch form factor devices that should working desktops and a lot of portable computers as well.
